“Heather joined The Marks Law Firm, P.A. – Family Law & Divorce Attorneys, in June 2023, bringing with her a deep passion for helping people and families navigate some of life’s most difficult transitions. Originally from rural central New York, Heather moved to Florida as a child and has lived throughout Central Florida watching the landscape change and the population boom before settling in Brevard County with her husband of nearly 19 years.
As a once-divorced mother of two who later built a successful blended family with her husband Chris, Heather brings personal insight into the emotional and practical complexities of divorce, co-parenting, and remarriage. Her own experiences fuel her commitment to walk alongside clients facing similar challenges, offering them the knowledge, empathy, and clarity they need.
Additionally, Heather has unique business and finance experience which help when valuating and separating business assets, interests, and liabilities in a divorce. Heather believes that issues affecting families carry some of the most lasting impacts in life, and she takes seriously the trust clients place in her to protect what matters most.
With a firm belief that good communication and sound legal counsel can alleviate fear, reduce confusion, and expose both real and empty threats, Heather is dedicated to guiding clients through their legal options—whether that means pursuing reconciliation, negotiating early resolutions, or advocating with compassion and professionalism through litigation when necessary.”
